Welcome

Welcome to my Art Blog where I will expound occasionally on the essential significance of the often rebellious creative spirit, art and life, and will present samples of my work for critique, and talk about artists and their work that have influenced my art.
I received an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 and began teaching in higher education in 2000. teaching influences the way I think and perceive art.

I admire the great Renaissance masters, the Orientalists and Pre-Raphaelites, and the American illustrators of the 19th and 20th centuries. More on these later.
